When you use Bazi Fortune (our app or website), we may collect:

• Birth Information: Date, time, and location of birth that you provide to generate your Bazi chart.
• Account Information: Email address and profile information if you create an account.
• Usage Data: How you interact with the app, features you use, and preferences you set.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system, and app or browser version for technical support.
• Advertising identifiers: On Android, your device's Google Advertising ID and an anonymous app-instance identifier, together with your IP address and app events such as installing or opening the app, creating an account, opening the subscription screen and completing a purchase.

We use the collected information to:

• Generate your personalized Bazi birth chart and fortune readings
• Provide daily fortune updates and compatibility analysis
• Improve our app features and user experience
• Send you notifications about your fortune (if enabled)
• Provide customer support
• Measure the performance of our advertising campaigns and attribute app installs and subscriptions to the campaign that led to them

Premium subscriptions are purchased through the Google Play Store. Google is the seller for those purchases and processes the payment under its own privacy policy — the payment does not pass through this website.

• The payment details needed to complete a purchase — payment method, billing address and tax information — are collected by Google under Google's privacy policy, not by us.
• What reaches us is subscription state: which plan is active, whether it renewed or was cancelled, and the order identifier we need in order to answer a billing question.
• We retain that order metadata — subscription status, plan and renewal dates — for as long as your account is active and for as long as tax and accounting rules require.

We use cookies and similar technologies on our website. Categories include:

• Essential: Required for sign-in, session management, and security.
• Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics — only set after you grant consent.

You can manage cookie preferences on the website via the consent banner. The mobile app does not use cookies; see "Advertising & Attribution" below for how to limit ad measurement on your device.

Your birth information and personal data are stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share anonymised, aggregated data for research or analytical purposes. We share data with service providers who help us operate the service, subject to confidentiality and data-protection agreements: Google Play (subscription billing), RevenueCat (subscription management and purchase events), PostHog (product analytics), Sentry (error monitoring), cloud hosting providers, and Meta Platforms (advertising measurement and attribution, as described under "Advertising & Attribution").

We advertise Bazi Fortune on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To measure whether those ads lead to installs and subscriptions, the Android app includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK and we use RevenueCat's integration with Meta's Conversions API. For this purpose we share the following with Meta Platforms, Inc. (and, for users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.). Meta may combine it with data it already holds about you. We never share your birth data, your Bazi chart, your name or your email address with Meta, and we do not use this data to show advertisements inside the app.

• Advertising identifiers: your Google Advertising ID and an anonymous app-instance identifier, together with your IP address.
• App events: installing and opening the app, creating an account, creating your chart and opening the subscription screen.
• Subscription events: trial start, purchase and renewal, including the product and price, sent server-side through RevenueCat.

You can stop this measurement at any time on your device: open Android Settings → Google → Ads (on some devices Settings → Privacy → Ads) and choose "Delete advertising ID" or "Reset advertising ID". Deleting the ID prevents Meta from linking future app events to your device. You can also limit Meta's ad personalisation in your Meta account's Ad preferences.

Bazi Fortune operates globally. Your data may be processed in the United States, the European Union, or other regions where our service providers (including Google and Meta Platforms) operate. Advertising-measurement data described under "Advertising & Attribution" is transferred to Meta Platforms in the United States. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect data transferred outside your country.

Depending on your jurisdiction (including GDPR for EU/UK and CCPA for California residents), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data (the right to be forgotten)
• Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
• Object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing
• Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising (California residents): we do not sell personal data; you can stop sharing for advertising measurement by deleting or resetting your device's advertising ID as described under "Advertising & Attribution", or by emailing privacy@bazifortune.app.
